Our group is involved with a number of courses that are taught at Linköping University. Many of these are embedded in the Masters program for Media Technology that has components for Scientific, Information, and Immersive Visualization in addition to teaching concepts for virtual reality.

Computer Graphics
Define 3D objects using triangles, 2D and 3D transformations, coordinate system transformations, rendering, parallel and perspective projection, clipping of projected objects outside the viewport, hidden surfaces, local lighting models, various shading methods, texture mapping, simple graphics programming.

Modelling and Animation
A Master's course in 3D modelling and animation, covering: representations of surfaces in 3D, triangular meshes in modeling, mesh decimation, implicit modeling, the level-set method in computer graphics and modeling, splines and subdivision surfaces, and physics based simulation and animation of fluids.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
Basic concepts about the history of AI and its importance, optimization techniques for applications of AI, feature extraction, probabilistic reasoning, rule-based systems, reinforcement learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, Bayesian and regression models.
